TWO COLORS
Two colors were chosen for the DG010 series: Blue and red to represent the microbrand's country of origin, both finished in a sunburst fumé style where the dial gradient fades to a dark black at the edges of the dial.

THE "CALIFORNIA" DIAL
The dial design of the DG010 is inspired by the classic California style dials used in classic diving and waterproof watches. This increases legibility in any orientation when the diver is underwater due to a few key features: The triangle pip at 12:00, the horizontal bars at the 3, 6, and 9:00 position, and the use of Baybayin script on the top half and arabic numerals on the bottom half.

TWO-TONE LUME. NOW BRIGHTER THAN EVER.
Glowing a bright green on the dial, and a light blue on the bezel.
C3 lume formula on the dial and hands, and a brand new BGW9 formula for the sapphire bezel insert. We've also reformulated our C3 lume to burn brighter and longer than our previous lume formula. The two tone lume aids in legibility underwater to track the elapsed minutes, separating the bezel and the dial through color.
POWERED BY A VENERABLE CLASSIC: THE SEIKO NH35
We're going back to our roots, and where we started: Providing one of the best value-proposition timepieces. The DG010 is powered by the venerable Seiko Instruments Inc. NH35 automatic movement. A workhorse movement that is known best for its reliability, robustness, and ease of serviceability. Less time to worry, and more time to enjoy. We've modified the movement to display the date at 6:00, retaining the proportions and symmetry of the dial.
A LONG FORGOTTEN CLASSIC BRACELET:
THE BEADS-OF-RICE
A long forgotten classic, the beads-of-rice bracelet. Previosuly used on 60s and 70s diving watches, the long forgotten bracelet has been overshadowed by its oyster-style and jubilee-style bracelets of the modern era. As we have promised, the links are still screw adjustable and are solid milled. Nothing comes close to value proposition than this.
ANOTHER CLASSIC INCLUDED IN THE BOX
Aside from the classic beads-of-rice bracelet, we're also including another classic: The polyurethane tropic style dive strap. A classic choice seen in vintage dive watches, the polyurethane tropic style dive strap combines both form and function. The soft polyurethane material is strong yet supple on the wrist, and the vent holes on the strap aid in breathability when wet. Nothing comes close to value proposition.
