THE VARIANTS
AN AUTOMATIC HEART
Despite smaller case proportions, an automatic mechanical movement was chosen to be the be the beating heart of the DG013. Powered by the Seiko Instruments Inc. NH05 movement, A small calibre version of the NH family of automatic movements known for their reliability and robustness, still offering handwinding despite the calibre's smaller size. As requested by you, the updated version removes the date window, featuring a cleaner more classic styled dial.
VINTAGE IN SPIRIT
SPORTY BY NATURE
Coming in at 25mm x 39mm, the DG013 was heavily inspired by the art-deco era of watches. Vintage proportions ensure the continual classic and timeless design of this release. Now in a more formal colorway, the classic and formal design cues of this series is offset by the sportier and everyday daily nature of De Guzman & Co. watches, lumed hour markers and hands light the way at night, and the orange painted seconds hand and the new hybrid waterproof rubber-leather bracelet subtly imbibes the hidden sporty nature of this release.

The use of Sapphire Glass, CNC milled 316L stainless steel case, up to 5ATM of water resistance*, an automatic movement , and the introduction of our hybrid waterproof rubber-leather bracelet all bring about a package that shows our dedication to our ethos.

INTRODUCING THE HYBRID RUBBER-LEATHER BRACELET
With its dressy case proportions, and imagery evoking a sense of formality, we believe that this series of the DG013 should be enjoyed on a leather strap. However, we also understand the context in where this watch was born and designed in: Right here in the Philippines. Hence, our decision to make and create our take on a leather bracelet applicable to the weather and climate here in the Philippines. A rubber interior base with waterproof treated stitched crocodile leather on the exterior, essentially a swimmable, easy-to-wash, waterproof leather bracelet. Tested and worn daily for the past three months by our team: In the shower, at the beach, and brought about in their daily lives, the bracelet has resisted odor, and venting holes and grooves on the rubber interior ensures quick-drying on your wrist even after a plunge. Featuring also a deployant clasp and quick-release pins, this finally makes wearing leather a true perfect daily experience. Indeed an uncanny experience wearing a leather bracelet at the beach.
